Fiona Friday - A little kiss

The cats were howling at me to entertain them, last week, so I made them a new playhouse. I cut a door in the side of an empty moving box and a single hole in the top because the box is fairly small, the idea being that they could poke their little heads up and look around. Both explored from both ends -- looking up from inside, checking out the hole, very entertaining. When Isabel went inside while Fiona was looking down the hole, I thought for certain they'd end up batting at each other. Instead, when Izzy poked her head up, Fiona gave her a little kiss. It was a surprisingly sweet moment.

  1. Awwwww! How sweet! I miss kitties, just not the litter box. I love how they get a long. :) I am sure it is not all rainbows and sweets. :)

    1. Haha, yeah, I could do without the litter boxes. We have three - two in white cabinets and another hidden one in a fake planter. I find them more tolerable when we don't have to look into the litter.

These two are super sweet with each other but, yes, they do have their feisty moments. They're few and far between, though. The fur girls play wrestle-chase, a bit, but they also will sometimes share a toy and they snuggle a lot during the winter (less when it warms up). We are very fortunate. They act like siblings, even though we got them 6 months apart. So pleased about that.

  2. Aww cute! I was so worried when we brought a new kitten home there'd be problems but for the most part they like each other ok and it makes be happy.

    1. I'm glad your kitties get along well, Jenny! It really makes a difference. Our last two didn't like each other. They got along but it was kind of an iffy detente and you never knew when a skirmish was going to break out. It's so much more pleasant having two that actually *like* each other. We have a lot of heart-warming little moments between Izzy and Fi. Yep, makes me happy, too. :)

    1. Thanks, Irene! I lucked out capturing that sweet little kitty kiss. They had checked out the box separately but that was the first time they sniffed around together.
